Face #9 is a digital sketch for a future painting titled, Winter’s Kiss. If you follow me on Facebook then you already know my connection to this “elf.”
Face #10 is another pencil portrait I worked on this morning. I particularly like the angle of the face and the hair in this drawing. I’m thinking of importing it into Photoshop for painting but I need to finish a few works in progress first!

Amanda! Thanks so much for your visit to my blog and your wonderful comments! This is wonderful! Do you find the digital control of the pen more difficult? I find it very hard to control at times. lol I’m also looking for good brushes. I have a few but never know which ones are best to use.
Lovely work Amanda!!
Thank you again and lovely to see your work! I’m learning so much from you.
You’re welcome, Maria!
I’ve found that the longer I use the Wacom the easier it’s becoming to handle. When I first started using it, last summer, I could not draw anything well. My control was awful. So I would draw in pencil, then scan it to paint in Photoshop. I think it just took time for my hand and brain to adjust because now, drawing directly with the tablet is a lot easier!
Very interesting Amanda..thank you for sharing your art music especally liking “The Fallen”…I’ve recently changed my music just for this challenge…Mumford and Sons and Lumineers.
You’re welcome!
